Sometimes, even though I try my best, I fail. But with every failure comes a learning experience. In this instance, I developed old rolls of Copex Rapid in POTA, which I had already used for two other rolls. The developer was likely too oxidized to fully develop my negatives. I tried to salvage what I could in post-production, but the resulting images either had too much contrast or not enough. Despite this, I still liked some of the shots and decided to write a blog post about the experience anyway.
As usual, these pictures were taken with my Zeiss Apo 135mm and Otus 55mm lenses, using my Nikon FM2n.
In late October or early November, my father and I went to the mountains near Switzerland. He brought his brand-new binoculars along.
